Counselors and clients work together to decide the therapeutic goals. Counselors pays attention to increasing motivation, explaining counseling and introducing therapeutic and homework assignments. Behavioural counseling methods by themselves are inadequate to treat the full range of human problems. Children prefer independent groups over interdependent and dependent groups.
