Statement: psychiatrists provide their own unique set of skills are knowledge when working alongside child and youth practitioners. Study showing that nurses and psychiatrists working together to diagnose and prescribe yielded positive results for the clients, which may show that those who have the initial and closest contact with the client should be involved in this process. Dsm used by psychiatrists can take away the control from the client, which is not what.
