Form groups of 4-5 students for the business plan assignment. Franchise outlets, buying an existing business, and not-for-profits are not acceptable topics for a business plan. For the first submission provide a maximum two-page proposal that succinctly answers each of the following questions: Overlapping of responsibility is recommended, especially for the financial section. A written elevator pitch at the end of the proposal that can be read easily in under one minute. An elevator pitch will be explained in class. It should be to one page in length. ** a minimum 8 x 10 group picture identifying each group member and the business name must also be included with the proposal. The instructor will provide feedback including approval (or not) of your idea to move beyond the first gate . Without this approval you must change or tweak your idea as indicated and re-submit for review.
