Review fabric descriptions in text chapter 12 and in the glossary in the back of the text book. Weaving: shedding, picking, beating up, take up, pushing the filling/weft yarn into place, the winding of the finished cloth onto a roll. Warp: stronger plied yarns are often found in the warp directions.
