What are the differences between a vm and a window dresser. Visual merchandisers work with products and oversee the whole project while visual stylists simply style for mannequin. The most important thing to consider on both ends is the customer, the most important factor to consider on both sides is customer experience - in uenced by customer service. Customer experience: customer service, product offering, value offering, entertainment factor. Store design supports vm by means of: structure, stage, brand image. Store design and vm union: window display, interior design, xtures/ ttings, lighting. Inspirational: want to inspire customer to come in. Commercial: at the end of day still have to see product. They should also bot think o the customer rst. Stock capacity per xture (both functional and for design) Fixtures (lighting), mannequins (type of mannequins), nishes ( oors, walls, colours), props. Main purpose: showing products to their fullest potential.
