Combined week 1 & 3: intro to digital media & Note: due to the length of theses individual lectures, i"ve decided to combine them. Pay attention to how digital culture influences you in subtle ways. We"ll be teaching you how to present a message using digital technology, but i"ll also be talking to you about the messages you receive via digital technology and how they influence you. Leave this class with a highly tuned, constantly updating imagination. Approach each project searching for a dozen great ideas, not just one or two. After about seven designs, you realize there really are infinite ways to look at a problem. Be aware that all but one of those dozen great ideas will eventually be killed. Due each monday on wordpress assigned from the weekly topics. Your instructor will review them, and you will receive a mark for your blog at the end of the term.
