Kodak preps is an industry-leading imposition software that can be used as stand-alone application, or part of an advanced workflow. The preps application is found on every mac: we have 60 licenses in total. A floating" license for its integration with kodak prinergy workflow. Kodak prinergy connect evo both use preps as its imposition engine. The preps workflow is unique and multi-faceted. With some practice, you can create complex impositions quickly. There are some preps terminology that is important to know: Contains, folding pattern, pages and associated margins (lip, head/foot/face/spine) Signatures are added to preps press runs for creating your imposition job file. An imposition container is added to each preps signature that holds your instructions about how where the pages are to be arranged.
