Based on the line graph the tails of the lines, there should be an decrease in the crude birth rate during the upcoming years. Total fertility rate refers to the number of children that a hypothetical female would have over the course of her reproductive life if she experienced the age-specific fertility rates observed in a given calendar year. (statistics canada, 2015). Total fertility rate is usually calculated for females aged 15 to 49.
