Continental drift: 200 million years ago pangea, (cid:1005)(cid:1007)5 (cid:373)illio(cid:374) years ago: they"re separati(cid:374)g , i(cid:374)dia is far a(cid:449)ay, 35 million years: drifting apart even more, present day. What are plates made of: plates are made of lithosphere, the lithosphere is made up of the crust and the upper part of the mantle, below the lithosphere (which makes up the plates) is the asthenosphere.
