Varies based on where you live, highest in the west (north america, australia, europe): lowest in. The older you become, the higher your chance of living longer. Your survival is based on many factors(geneics, where you live, work, play) All these factors determine how long you live and your quality of health during that ime. Risk: the probability of something bad happening when dealing with a hazard (risk of falling of the mountain, can be changed by various factors) Even the slightest change can highly impact risk. Everything we do exposes us to hazards, it"s how we do things that determine risks. Group fear: horriic events that happen infrequently, but cause great fear. We know large magnitude events (tsunami, asteroids). We don"t feel much anxiety because tend to not happen oten. Europeans explored and conquered much of the planet. Reason greed- gold-silver-spices-precious stones and so on. Ponce de leon looking for the fountain of youth to stay alive forever.
