Relaive incidence of disease the rate of sickness. Speciic mortality due to a disease can drop while the rate of infecion could be going up. Life where you are doing it: living, working, playing. When when you are doing it: ime of day, month, year, closeness to other events (more died linked to days around holidays) Large scale map (1:25,000) provision of more detail at the local level. Small scale (1:4,500,000) shows more geographic area--but less detail. The map is unusual- diferent risks and geographies. Used aal (average annual loss) for 26 american ciies. Each zip code was weighted by the residenial value in the area. The scale has values from 0 to 500 (represening the loss for a representaive building with a value of ,000)
