The Effect of Technology on Environment & Life style : video above
What is Technology?
What is technology:
According to Galbraith (scientist), he defines it as
J.K. Galbraith defines technology as a ssteati appliatio of sietifi or other
orgaized kowledge to pratial tasks
Also technology can be the knowledge of techniques - to process this knowledge and
eed it i ahies that a e operated without detailed kowledge e. You do’t
need to know about the engine of the car that you drive you just need to know how to
drive
You need to pick up your mobile and make a call you don't need to know how the mobile
works and does this job
Technology can be the knowledge of techniques, and processes, or it can be embedded
in machines which can be operated without detailed knowledge of their workings.
The human species' use of technology began with the conversion of natural resources into
simple tools.
Humans use of technology began when they started destroying natural resources - when
pesticides were poured on agricultural areas/sites -as shown in the video- canner and
different diseases emerged so technology began the conversion of natural resources
simple tools ex broke branches and converted it into axes to hunt animals
Technology
Technology is the application of knowledge while
Science is the accumulation of knowledge
Technology includes all aspects of applied science for achieving practical purpose so if you
use accumulate the knowledge of science and convert it into something that can be
applied is called technology
Technology is viewed as a means of combining four factors of production:
So in technology we need 4 factors
Land
Labor
Capital
Knowledge - which increases the ability to create new product from combining these
factors.
If you have knowledge but no money or money but no knowledge It won't do you any
good, we need to have all these means/factors to be able to enjoy technology/ create and

Knowledge - which increases the ability to create new product from combining these factors. How can global warming be reduced/changed/fixed: how was the environment before technology: It was simple, neat, clean, peaceful, not polluted: environment after technology. Polluted, a lot of complications, new diseases and complications have emerged. Something to think about: humans accelerate natural disasters - they were meant to happen but they may not happen with as much strength without human impact or as fast or as easy to occur.
