All traditional printing requires somewhere to store ink. A way to transfer the ink to image carrier to the substrate. Heidelberg speed master xl105: 6 stations = cmyk colour press + 2 spot colours blankets are usually made of rubber and depending on the press, it could be hard or soft. Planogram: which areas are printed and which are not, the way things are positioned on a press. Initial cost: all the hours and time of part to set up the job. Simple make ready is just changing the plates in between the jobs. Partial make ready is both a plate and the ink change (other job might not use cmyk) including washing the plates. Full make ready is all the steps including resetting up paper feed, delivery etc. Once make ready is done (after first good approved sheet colour proof) Could be shown in separate proofs but normally are added on top of each other.
