Gcm 738 lecture 8 october 27, 2017. It"s not the tools you have, but how you use them. Retouching tools: spot healing brush, healing brush, patch, content aware, red eye, clone stamp, pattern stamp. Used sampled pixels from specified an image or pattern, but also matches the texture, lighting, transparency, and shading of the sampled pixels to the pixels being healed . Same as healing brush but does not require a specified sample spot (chooses automatically) Repairs a selected area with pixels from another area. Matches texture, lighting, and sharing of the sampled pixels to the source pixels. Can also be used to clone the isolated areas. Used to select and move a part of a picture. The image is recomposed, and the hole left behind is filled using matching elements from the picture. Use the move mode to place objects in different. Use the extend mode to expand or contract objects such as hair, trees, or buildings.
