Throughout 1930s, hitler is rearming the army: hitler, germany by autumn 1939, eve of poland war, nazis created 3. 7 million men, 6. Problem: created an army so fast that there was a lag in training. They lacked specialist, proper equipment ( not enough motor transport). The wehrmacht were still using horses, had light fast tanks, basic guns. Air force luftwaffe modern, cutting edge plains. Tactile and operational screens generals are thinking about integration of land and air, flexible initiative, driven. The commanders are only following the designs of hitler: france.
