Indoctrinaion-only successful on youth; hamburg was one of the only towns to not vote hitler in 1930s elecion, mix of youth (very inluenced by nazi ideals) and middle aged men authoritarian personality used to duies-n/a natural inclinaion-also possible. Zimbargo- prison experiment: 30% became violent, 50% tough but semi-fair, 20% nice. Milgram-shock experiment: would inlict more pain if they could not see people they were huring, or if an authority igure was ordering them too.
