Definition of events: activities that provide an opportunity or leisure, social, or cultural experiences that last anywhere from half a day to a year. Events provide motivations for travel & add quality of life for residents, often draws on local context, environment and history. Local economic activity, example painters, carpenters, preparatory employees. Leisure events open to the public, but private corporate functions are also sometimes called. Usually multiple activities and they all take place in the same area.
