Enterprise architecture (ea): includes the plans for how an organization builds, deploys, uses, and shares its data, processes and it assets. Date architecture: backup and recovery, disaster recovery, security. A backup is a copy of a systems data. Recovery: is the ability to get a system up and running in the event of a system crash or failure and includes restoring the data backup. Fault tolerance: is a computer system designed so that in the event a component fails, a backup component or procedure can immediately take its place with no loss of service. Disaster recovery plan: a detailed process for recovering data or an it system in the event of a catastrophic disaster such as a fire or flood. Hot site: a separate and fully equipped facility where the company can move immediately after a disaster and resume business.
