Huge chapters and important topics and introduce some topics. Part of it is from itm 330 supply chain process architecture. This week and next week, full lectures and the week after that is review. Final exam april 17th: cumulative but mostly focused on after midterm, more than half will be after midterm and less than half will be before midterm. Chapter 12 is mostly conceptual: supplier relationship etc. Assignment 2 will be based on today"s lecture and due in two weeks. Waiting lines define what the system looks like, how does it work in terms of queuing. Simulation develop some results and there is a bonus for the simulation. Try to see how we did simulation in 501 and in the review class, we can spend. Don"t start late and find some time to start working on it this week.
