Conversaion w individuals: taylor swit writes songs from twiter for the masses. Zombie lies: lies that never go away, trump sees a group of muslims cheering for 9/11. Say what you want to say w/o being afraid of beaten. Saying a phrase that is rude, insensiive, bigoted: but this is a diference of opinion, not hate speech, hate speech is idenifying a group and atacking them. Many are not always right: we serve white"s only no spanish or mexicans, coloured entrance only. Foe 3 values: truth, democracy, individual autonomy. Protects the public"s recogniion of truth, growth of knowledge, poliical, scieniic, arisic, inimate expression. I cant even think that or else i"ll get in trouble: freedom isn"t just freedom, it also refers to responsibility. Freedom is about the right to disagree, it comes w the cost of allowing other groups to protest as well. Role of university responsibility is not only to promote fearless freedom of debate but to protect.
