Negative view of what the future is. Fictional or hypothetical person whose physical abilities are extended beyond normal human limitations by mechanical elements built into the body. Suggests that a person would want to extend through their natural abilities. We talk about cyborgs like they"re these powerful things that extend beyond us, and do things that we aren"t able to do and go beyond our natural abilities. Implication that goes with the sublime that we talked about. It"s something that looks like a problem solving machine. Think about the fact that it is a very rare thing to talk about to talk about woman in cyborg form. Could over-sexualize the women in cyborg form. A cybernetic organism, hybrid of machine and organism, a creature of social reality as well as a creature of fiction: social reality lived social relations, out most important political construction, a world changing fiction.
