Organizational purchasers buy raw materials and unfinished goods. B2b purchasers are more interested in delivery time, technical assistance, after sale service & financing than a b2c customer. Employee responsibility is determining buyer needs, finding suitable suppliers, negotiating appropriate price and ensuring adequate follow-up service. People oversee creating specifications, signing off on purchases, negotiating purchase, ensuring specifications have been met. Long-term relationships are important and effort is put into negotiating relationships.
