Rnb band, jump band sound: electric guitar, acoustic bass, saxophone, drums. Reminiscent of rural blues (rural blues guitar slow). Lyrics: train imagery (finding jobs, transporting carts, post wwii). Parker working within rnb tradition, presley moved away and going into rock n roll. Band: rnb sound present, sax solo, drums, electric guitar, piano. A pianist: honky tonk piano, boogie woogie style. Music video: showmanship w/ piano and sax (playing piano w/ back to it, sax player on top of piano). Rnb and lil bit of rock, closer to jump blues. 4 bar verse, 8 bar chorus, aab (12 bars). Form: 12 bar blues + 6 bar extension, aab (plus 6), verse-chorus, (blues based like most of presley"s stuff). Rockabilly w/ presley, le gato sound w/ vocal group (doo wop sound). Using this to put him in mainstream to get him out of hillbilly sound. V strong back beat w/ electric guitar. Written by liber and stoller (same ppl w/ hound dog).
