Distant and constant, self reflected to know what she needed to do in order to give full care to patient and family, edith engaged on a holistic level because she engaged with the family, Family was focused on finding cure, and didn"t see physical symptoms of decline, Edith thought it was important to tell the truth so that they were prepared. She was honest about the prognosis, shouldn"t give a false hope because it doesn"t help anyone in the scenario, facilitation of dialogue.
