Bed making: examine the client"s need for a safe, comfortable and hygienic environment, understand and demonstrate approaches to occupied and unoccupied bed making. Patient safety: reduction and mitigation of unsafe acts within the health care system, as wel as through the use of best practices shown to lead to optimal patient safety. Issues such as staff shortages, new technology and other hc demands prompted re-examination of how errors and adverse events for pt can be prevented.
