Nse 13 winter week 6 musculoskeletal system. Glenohumoral joint, acromioclavicular joint, greater tubercle of humerus, coracoid process. Olecranon process, medial and lateral epicondyles of the humerus. Tibial tuberosity, medial and lateral condyles of tibia, head of fibula, medial and lateral epicondyles of femur, patella. Greater trochanter of femur, anterior superior iliac spines. Scapulae, spinous processes, paravertebral muscles, posterior superior iliac spines, iliac crests. To produce red blood cells in the bone marrow. Ligaments are fibrous bands that run directly from one bone to another. Bursa is an enclosed sac filled with fluid located in areas of friction i. e. shoulder and knee. Muscles account for 40-50% of body weight. There are 3 types: smooth, cardiac, skeletal voluntary, under conscious control. Fibrous tissue or cartilage that is immovable i. e. sutures in the skull. Enclosed in a joint cavity and filled with a lubricant, which permits movement, and is supported by ligaments. Inspection: palpation, rom, muscle testing, special tests.
