Scientific community disinterest/conspiracy: scientists are not willing to look into it, no one studies it because there is nothing to study, no proof. They are not a natural cause and they cannot be detected in a natural way. Not a scientific fact, it never can be and never will be. But it"s hard to prove that they don"t exist: e. g. Chemistry that gave rise to it is everywhere and very common. Can survive almost anything even the most extreme. ~90% of the cells in our body are bacteria.
