Self-government, limited autonomy/sovereignty be afforded to aboriginal canadians (if at all) for: reasons having to do with preservation of culture, some kind of compensation for historical injustices. One supposes it could be both, that (b) separated aboriginals claims from the claims of other cultural groups.
