Must figure out what virtue is first (cant know the quality of something is unless you know what that something is) The form at by all instances are examples of that thing. To point to an example of virtue you already imply that you know what virtue is otherwise you wouldn"t be able to give that example. Can one know how to live an excellent human life. To live an excellent human life virtue is to desire good things like money and have the power to get. To be excellent: something distinguishable in your life.
