Document Summary

Ex: the statement the sun shines is the antecedent of the sentence if the sun shines, people go to the park true or false. True (antecedent is the part that follows the if) Ex: an inductively strong argument has a conclusion that is probably true. An inductively weak argument is not very likely that the conclusion is true. An inductively cogent argument is one that is strong and has true premises. Figure out which one is right; look into the reasons for which one is more right. Good reason to doubt the claim but not conclusive. Could be possible that there is a mistake in the background information. Ex: the universe has existed for all eternity, so it was not created.
