National politics (politics within one state: states are entities composed of a population, government, and territory. Sovereignty means supreme power: sovereignty entails 2 things, states are the highest authority for their population and territory, states are able to act independently and are not subject to any external authority. An organization created by states to facilitate cooperation among them. Anarchic: a situation in which there is no central authority.
