Representative - elect representatives to make governing decisions on your behalf. Canadian democracy: representative & liberal, limited state with protections (charter of rights & freedoms, parliamentary, challenges in canadian democracy : Although canadians can elect their government , the state is not elected by the people. Politics is largely in uenced by the elite members of society which can be problematic as things tend to favour them since they put so much money into politics and the political parties.
