In the 1920s the city hall area was an absolute slum, poor immigrants and poor people in general lived there. This was the general idea of all cities. Movies were cheap and easy to understand fir the poor and uneducated, they were in the city where poor people and people who were looked down upon lived. In the 1930s movie culture began, got even bigger in the 1950s, in 1952 it was the peak year.
