They got involved in the markets and played a more guiding role in the economic development of the south. The south had a great interest in social development and the states were guiding them. Although the south did not use them as a guideline to follow, they used at as a tool to inform them what to avoid. Comparatively, they did not follow the governance of the west. They made sure that spending a small amount of money to ensure young women are educated in schools to increase their markets. They made it their main goal to educate women. These women will grow up to be successful and produce smarter children with higher chances of being successful. This will ultimately increase global markets and local economies.
