(lecture 1, re: na ve realism) Representative heuristics like goes with like (eg. verbal stereotypes) Happens when we think about questions such as: What is the probability that a belongs/is an effect/is the cause to/of b. People tend to answer these questions by assessing the degree to which a represents, or resembles, b! Availability heuristics off the top of my head . We can do this in a number of ways many different types of research designs! Extent to which we can generalize our findings to real-world settings.
