Document Summary
A proposition would be true in the case that it describes things as they actually are. A proposition would be false in the case it fails to describe things as they actually are. A false proposition does not relate to the facts. A sequence of the model: every proposition has exactly one truth-value. It is either true or false it cannot be both. It avoids any of the drawbacks of the other models. Disadvantages: certain propositions don"t fit this model, even if we think they really are true or false. It is not possible for us to check the whole system of beliefs relates to the facts. Remember how knowledge involves truth, belief, and justification. If you consider any propositions there are three options: believe it - you think it is true, disbelieve it - you think it is false, suspend judgement neither of the above is true.
