Factors that test memory this is in a specific incident when there are a whole bunch of external factors, police asks close ended questions that may effect how you remember something, when witnesses see a crime and then chat about it how that effects memory. If i can convince you something is true and then someone else comes up to you and asks you questions about it it will be recalled just as quickly and with confidence how will that person know you"re telling the truth you"re not lying but you"re presenting false information. Suggestive memories are when people have told you something or you put 2 and 2 together to include it will include more cognitive factors now if the person who gave you that memory had sensory details in it then that could be a problem but even if it"s your own memory there will be some cognitive porcesses so there is some overlap.
