Intimacy: emotional intimacy, feelings of closeness and affection, having a connection w/ person, passion, physical closeness, sexual focus, decision/commitment, commitment to that love, commitment to maintaining that relationship, 8 different types of love, nonlove. If none of the 3 dimensions are present: not close to person, not physically attracted, not connected, liking, friends. Infatuation: fling, only sex, no emotional closeness, no commitment, empty love, commitment but no intimacy, no passion, arranged marriages, married couples who stay married just for the kids, romantic love, passion + intimacy but no long-term commitment.
