Some groups are much higher than others for the rate of victimization. They"re young, single, live in a city, go out at night -higher risk at night. Three theories for why violence occurs: social learning theory, general aggression model (gam, evolutionary psychological perspective, explaining violence, social learning theory. So growing up when he was 5-6 he was doing this with his brother, they would basically have brawls in their living room. So he grew up in that kind of env. He had a life of a lot of violence and his life strategy was to hit first and ask questions later. He was petrified of other males around his age; and that was the issue. Then you have situational inputs, where things begin to happen so mayeb someone is standing in a way which gives an aggressive cue to you: there is some sort of situation developing.
