02/27/2015: 512000 people reported being victim of sexual assault in. Canada less than 10% of sexual assault is reported robbery 46% and physical assault 40: uniform crime reporting survey. 73 sexual offences/100k reported to police: clearance rates for sexual offences are lower than for other violent offences. Victimization: women and girls are more likely to be victims, more common among young people. Victims are usually 15-24: usually they know each other, no increase in past 5-10 years. But it could be that people report less or more now than before: severity. Unwanted touching 81% (cid:1) (cid:1) shock and disbelief consequences for victims. Concerns about stds, pregnancy fear, ptsd, depression sexual disturbances paraphilias recurrent intense sexually arousing fantasies, urges, behaviours generally involving: objects, suffering or humiliation of oneself or ones partner, children or other non consenting persons. Occurring for at least 6 months types. Sexual attraction to children who have not gone: pedophilia through puberty.
