Would two different therapists come to the same conclusion: parsimony. Maybe simple but free association techniques would be used over the course of years to develop the level of non-censorship needed, so others decided there had to be another way, one that was quicker projective tests. A patient / client is asked to respond (in some way) to an ambiguous object: since the object is ambiguous interpretation of (cid:862)nothing(cid:863) i(cid:374)to (cid:862)something(cid:863) (cid:449)ill re(cid:448)eal aspects of their personality.
