Critical thinking only makes sense if we are realist. Because if it was relativism then it leads back to believing into it. Relativism, it"s not about belief but truth but truth is what you believe. Someone likes lady gaga because she"s the best, that"s true to them because they believe it. If many people have different opinions then many relativism believe that since no one knows what"s going on there might not be enough facts about it. Physics: even if there is a lot of disagreement on the subjects but realism is still the rite attitude. Justification: belief is justified if its based or grounded in good reason. Pragmatics is believing in something because questioning is too difficult. Emotional: believing in something because it makes them feel good or fit in with others. (couches tell athletes to improve ability, it might not be true but it will motivated them to work harder)
