Society: is a large group of people (canadian society) who interact with one another in accordance with the values, beliefs, customs, behaviors and artefacts of a common culture. Culture is a way of making sense of the world, socialization is the process where we learn so(cid:272)iety(cid:859)s (cid:272)ulture. Human beings are very dependant on social relationships. They serve the immediate needs of its members, who tend to be actively involved in the creation and maintance of their cultural values. In our modern society, folk cultures operate within small, working-class communities: high culture: (cid:272)o(cid:374)sists of (cid:862)superior(cid:863) (cid:272)usto(cid:373)s a(cid:374)d (cid:448)alues. Histori(cid:272)ally see(cid:374) as (cid:862)good(cid:863), emerges out of the enlightenment era of western philosophy. Pe(cid:272)ifies that (cid:858)(cid:859)(cid:272)ulture(cid:859)(cid:859) goes hand-in-hand with civilization, enlightenment and education of humankind.
