The way to get to the truth needs to correlate to make sure it becomes true. Standpoint of what is true exists as ideas in our minds and therefore it is constructed by the person who is thinking it. What humans have said of children and childhood has varied across culture and changed overtime. And depending on their culture, there is variation on dependency on adults compared to other culture e. g. north america vs asia. To an extent children were regarded as little adults compared to now when there are laws and protection for children now than before. In asian culture in the 18th century, children who were first born were considered to be 1 and not a first born.
