It becomes a given that these women are expected to do everything, while men are expected to do nothing. Prevailing ideologies provide images that lead us to carry on these ideologies. Systematic disadvantage, acceptance as natural, both the structural constraints that is the lack of alternative sources of resistance. These two come together to shape duty and obligation for women. Interplay between personal experience and wider social structure.
