Women use sexuality and eroticism to feel powerful. When this energy gets tied with race, class, gender, and sexuality people will start restricting it. Power is energy that people possess and must be taken over/annexed in order to oppress them. Objectification- seeing and/or treating a person (usually a woman) as an object. Identified seven features that are involved in the idea of treating a person as an object. Instrumentality- the treatment of a person as a tool for the o(cid:271)je(cid:272)tifier(cid:859)s purposes: denial of autonomy- the treatment of a person to the point where they start to lack autonomy and self-determination.
