He seems to realize how important glory is, and seems to be adjusting to the idea of glory. His honour comes from zeus and only zeus. Thinks honour does not come from good deeds. Patroclus and achilles were really close (maybe homosexual?) Achilles let patroclus wear his armour and lead men into battle, as he charges the wall, he is then killled by hector.
