We have mentioned many such health risks including. Metabolic syndrome is a group of risk factors that dramatically increase health risk. While one risk factor is still a risk (obviously), multiple risk factors dramatically increase health risk and early mortality. Lets reiterate the relation between obesity and diabetes. Ninety percent of type 2 diabetics are obese. This has lead to a well supported hypothesis that obesity causes diabetes and we have already talked about hypertrophied fats cells being invade by macrophages inducing and inflammation responses that leads to insulin resistance. What we have not mentioned is the social stigma and resulting psychological trauma associated with obesity. Given a list of the following undesirable characteristics and which one you would least like to marry, obesity ranks fifth with college students. Young children, both thin and obese, prefer facially disfigured dolls rather than obese dolls: obesity treatment. Treatment can go in a lot of directions.
