Difficult to see : when you do identify power it"s hard to determine who"s enforcing it, series of experts, trainers, observes and lawmakers. & getting rid of just one of them won"t remove power: power circulates through multiple people and groups. Who enforces: disciplinary practices, making people accept norms . Who benefits & who suffers: you"ll begin to see the ideology of the norms or disciplines being orchestrated. Example of power as invisible , panopticon: internalized gaze.
