Canada set up a vigorous threat of a carbon tax set by the federal government. Workers descending into a physical plant (operational / technological guts of the university or whatever building) But the workers are dominated by capitalism and technology. They are depicted as automatons: have been dehumanized. Gorgeous city above, its technology, economics, privilege is enabled only by these workers / automatons. The worker is unable to keep up with the pressure and ends up blowing up the place. We can see what is human and what is not: extensions of our capacities, where does technology end and begin, we take the technological for granted. Dystopian view of the future is more important than the plot: darkness, dread, that is seen. It"s hardl(cid:455) (cid:373)ea(cid:374)t to be dystopian: this was his vision of the future in 1927. Auschwitz the ultimate technology: dehumanized workers. Hiroshima: dropping of the atomic bombs, complete devastation and murder of millions of people in one technological.
